The Kennedy family has been at Orroland since 1973 when they arrived to find sheep grazing in the gardens and almost not a tree in sight. Over the Kennedy years, Orroland has undergone a complete transformation with a great deal of tree planting and landscaping, the digging of the loch, building of the pavilion and a continuous stream of other interesting projects and improvements which combine to create the character of this magical space.
We couldn’t do this without the help of our housekeeping, gardening and maintenance team who play a pivotal role in the continuous improvement of the grounds and cottages. Between them, they fix, maintain, clean, improve, bake, mow and greet.
Our amazing team help us perfect the change-over day routine so guests always arrive at clean, characterful properties in a location that far exceeds their expectations.
